We guarantee that your flower arrangement will be fresh and of the highest quality available at the market. If you, or the person receiving your gift, are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us at the time of delivery and one of our customer service representatives will work to ensure your satisfaction.

Due to various seasonal conditions, availability of some flowers may be very limited or some flowers can be out of season. Also, specific flower varieties or colours may not be available for delivery on a specified day. However, we try to recreate these as closely as possible. Every effort will be made to maintain size, shape, and overall colour schemes of an arrangement, but there may be some variance due to designer.

We deliver 7 days a week and after hours within Auckland.

Please call us if your order is urgent and we can arrange an urgent delivery for you. We can deliver to the CBD and inner city in one hour and Auckland central in two hours.

   Auckland Central $12.00.
   Auckland Rural Delivery $17.00.

Auckland rural deliveries can be done only in the afternoon. City Florist uses an extensive courier network and gets it there if it possible. Help us by providing: recipient’s telephone number, full delivery details (ie ‘3km up Boston Road on the left-hand side—house with red roof’).Please choose the rural delivery at the check out. If your delivery is out of “rural zone” we will contact you.

What happen if nobody at home?

We use a courier company for our deliveries. They do not do a second run if nobody at home. Your gift will be left at the safe place where the recipient can easily notice it (back door, car port, veranda, etc.) Make sure that you choose the right time for delivery - you can specify the time at the “comment box”( AM or PM ) during the ordering process. If you are not sure about the time we can call to the recipient to arrange the delivery time - please provide mobile number if possible for this service.

Wrong address

Please note: No responsibility can be taken for incorrect recipient details and shall remain the senders responsibility. No refunds will be given. We are happily assist if notified early enough to check the details before sending the order. If you find out that the address you gave us is wrong please contact us ASAP so we can redirect it. If our delivery driver will find out that the given address is wrong he will contact us - in this case your flowers can be redeliver for an extra charge.

Flower Care

Flowers in Wraps

Please note: your flowers need to be looked after to last well and please you for a long time. As soon as you receive them simply remove the water wrapping from the stems. Recut the stalks and place your arrangement in a deep vase of fresh water as soon as possible. It is also good to change water every third day and recut the stalks again - this action will give your flowers an extra life. A little household bleach helps to keep the water fresh, (just one teaspoon is required for a large vase). Or, alternatively a professional flower preservative can be added to water. Keep them in a cool place away from direct heat and sunlight.

Container Presentations

There is no need to transfer the flowers to a vase. Pop a little extra water into the container on delivery. Keep flowers out of direct sunlight and away from fireplaces, heaters and air conditional units. Find a nice, cool spot in your room where they will be visible and safe. Check the level of water in your container occasionally and top up if needed. If you have flowers in floral oasis it needs to be watered every second day - just slowly pour 1/2 cup of water at the centre of you flower arrangement.
